Colleen Koch

Hi, I’m Colleen Koch! I’ve been in the insurance industry for 19 years, starting as a CSR at Strachota Insurance. After attending Mike Russ Insurance School, I worked my way up to an account manager and eventually became a senior account manager. My focus was in Commercial Lines, where I worked closely with contractors and business owners. Now, I’m excited for the next chapter of my career, finding a team that shares my work ethic and values, and continuing to grow professionally. 

I was born in Torrance, CA, but I’ve called Lake Elsinore home since I was four years old. Before insurance, I pursued my education as a certified medical assistant, graduating with honors. But life led me to the insurance world, and I’ve never looked back! 

I have been happily married for 33 years and am incredibly proud of my two sons, Dylan (32) and Justan (26). Family is everything to me, and we still love spending time together—whether it’s camping, playing games, or our favorite, going to the river. Our household also includes two beloved dogs: Cash, our 11-year-old Boxer, and Tango, our 1-year-old Cane Corso/Great Pyrenees mix. 

Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, crafting, reading, and puzzles. I also love planning parties whenever there’s an occasion to celebrate! In both my personal and professional life, I’m passionate about being a good person, treating others with kindness, and making people feel special. Seeing happy customers and knowing I’ve helped them motivates me to always give my best. 

Fun fact: I’m the middle child of five and grew up in a one-room house Little House on the Prairie-style—no electricity, no running water, and heat from a potbelly stove. We even watched TV using a car battery! It definitely taught me resilience and appreciation for the little things in life.
