Guru Brar

Hello, my name is Guru Kaur Brar.  I lived with my family in Punjab India, before moving to the United States in 2019. I was educated at the school in my village and then went to the state university in India.

I am close with my family and am lucky to have my uncle Jaspreet Singh as a big part of my life.  My husband Sardar Singh and I are happily married and we are often taking spontaneous road trips on our days off- hiking and off roading are some of our favorite things to do together.

I have always enjoyed reading and writing poetry in Punjabi and hope to get back to doing more of it.  I am proud of getting published in several magazines when I was living in India.

Prior to joining The Insurance Store in 2021, I worked for a trucking company doing all the administrative work.  I first began my work with the Insurance store at the Tracy Office, until I moved closer to the Murrieta Office.  My colleagues in Tracy have remained a huge part of my life and I am grateful to have such good friends.  I am happy to be a part of The Insurance Store team and am excited for what comes next!
