Lisa Thunstrom

I was born and raised in San Diego. I grew up in a loving home where I was the oldest of 6 children. Some say my twin brother kicked me out of the womb and that’s why I am the oldest but if you ask him, he was being a gentleman.

I have two teenagers that keep me laughing and keep life fun! I feel blessed to be living and working in a place that feels like home.

I have enjoyed working since I was 10 where I started with babysitting and at 15 received parental permission to begin working at an orthodontist office. I processed 1031 Exchanges for several years before I took some time away from the workforce to stay at home with my children.

I have worked in several family-owned businesses and really enjoy it. TIS has expanded so much over the years but still has the inclusive family feel. They truly care about the well-being of their team.

The insurance industry is always changing and evolving which can be difficult but keeps things interesting. I am grateful we continue to grow in market access and resources to find you the right carrier for your needs.
