Maria Banda

Hi, I’m Maria Banda! I graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor's degree in Finance, and I’ve spent the last four years working as an Accounting Specialist at Neighborhood Healthcare. During my time at SDSU, I balanced full-time studies while also working full-time as an Assistant Manager at Panda Express—an experience that taught me the value of hard work, time management, and perseverance. 

Currently, I’m focused on furthering my career in the accounting field. I love learning new skills and expanding my knowledge, and in the next few years, I plan to go back to school to earn my master’s degree. Growth—both personally and professionally—is something that truly motivates me. Lately, I’ve been diving into personal development through audiobooks and podcasts, which has been both inspiring and rewarding. 

Although I moved around a bit as a child, I spent my teenage years in Escondido, CA, before moving to Wildomar just over a year ago. I’ve really fallen in love with my neighborhood and the peacefulness it brings to my life. 

In 2016, I married my husband, and together we’ve built a beautiful family with our two wonderful little girls and two dogs. My weekends are all about making memories with my daughters, and our favorite place to spend time together is Disneyland—it’s our happy place! 

Outside of work and family, I enjoy dancing and used to play soccer before my first daughter was born. When I have a quiet moment, I love watching movies that inspire perseverance, like Maid on Netflix and The Pursuit of Happiness. Both remind me how important it is to keep pushing forward, no matter the obstacles, and to appreciate all the little things in life that we sometimes take for granted. 

I’m excited for this next chapter in my career and look forward to learning, growing, and making a positive impact!
